Yolitia which in Nahuatl (a Mexican prehispanic mother tongue) means “where life is recreated”. It’s a space where we search for the possibilities to live in harmony in this world while connecting with our true nature. We open our doors to everyone who has the intention to transform the current unconsciousness of humanity and is willing to serve Life. The primary objective here is to heal. Healing our body and mind we contribute to the constant planetary evolution, acknowledging the interdependence of every living organism, and realizing oneness. We see Yolitia as a place where we can learn to live with each other and where we see which are the elements needed to co-create a functional and coherent community, be it with the people living on the land, with all of natures elements and with the surrounding communities. The work that we are doing here is emerging all over the world and we have the intention to extend and weave the net through service. Remembering how to live, how to accept, how to forgive and building a constant trust are our daily objectives. |

Services Yolitia offers services of integral health in “La casa de la Salud” (the house of heath).
Actions We believe in abundance without waste, sharing what mother nature gives us, our actions to achieve this are: Workshops Holistic health giving a perspective of the body as a hole and the way of life as the principle of achieving or maintaining a healthy life we share different paths of knowledge that give the information and tools to enter a healthy way of life. Sustainability and basic principles of ecology directed to bring awareness of our way of life and the impact it has on our ecological foot print. EcoConstruction learning how to build using the local material like bamboo, straw bales, cob, adobe and thatch roofs, to create a healthy space to live. Kid’s camps we integrate children from the city and from the farm lands to build a new bridge in relationships accepting and learning from the two different “ways of life”.
Youth camps are aimed to build an overstanding of the life energy experienced by contacting with the sexual energies, and direct them into a creative process of self transformation and self knowledge. Elder’s camps we help them bring back the respect and acknowledgment for their wisdom, making peace with “being old” and understanding in an spiritual perspective the meaning of life and death, working with different methodologies to transcend “the fear of dying” and welcome life. Eco Construction and alternative technologies We have integrated the traditional building methods of the region and the use of eco technologies for the development of the project, creating an upliftment of the “traditional” way of living bringing empowerment to the people that still maintain the cultural traces of the region are part of our objectives. Ecology With the creation of the “Teotl Garden” meaning sacred garden in Nahuatl we show an alternative to agriculture. By using an organic approach we grow medicinal plants. These is an example to other farmers of a different way of making their fields sustainable and leaving behind the classical monocrop way of farming. Ecotourism trips to the surrounding areas of Yolitia bringing awareness of the actual ecological devastation of the region and the possible personal and collective possibilities of environmental restoration. At the same time visiting sacred spaces where nature is still kept away from human unconsciousness we become touched by nature feeling the responsibility of sustaining life and all its forms.
Re Encountering with Traditional Mexican Medicine is a project brought together by the partnership of Yolitia, ICAMEX “Institute for the investigation and knowledge sharing in agriculture, water use and forestry of the state of Mexico” and the State Environment secretary. The aim is to bring knowledge of the medicinal plants of the region, their use, the natural habitat and the technology to process them into herbal products to the technical schools of the region, this will bring a possibility to revive the traditional knowledge of herbology together with the need to respect and protect the environment. Volunteers program We are part of the WWoof program and receive volunteers that are willing to learn and share experience, these brings an aspect of community life to Yolitia. From Mexico City, take a bus from Observatorio bus terminal to Chalma then take a Taxi to Jalmolonga and ask for Dr. Carlos’ house. We ask that you refrain from using alcohol and illegal substances. For those that smoke tobacco there is an allocated area.
